Behavioral Assessment

Have you considered adding employee and new hire assessments to your recruiting and evaluation process? In years past all assessments were paper based. You had to physically deliver or mail the assessment to your hiring manager, and this was a time consuming process. However, in today's electronic world, the ease and accessibility of Internet based assessments has changed the way we do business. With a click of a button, you can deliver valuable data straight to your leaders in an efficient and timely manner.

Additionally, these assessments can be accessed for many years and team reports can be compiled using a combination of individual reports to determine how individuals might perform as a team. Wouldn't it be nice to have an instruction manual on each team member to determine how they might react to each other under certain circumstances? It's no wonder behavioral assessments have become mainstream over the past few years.

Here are just a few things hiring managers can benefit from when using behavioral assessments.

  1. Onboarding and coaching
  2. Creating greater self-awareness
  3. Self-development, goal setting, career planning
  4. When someone is having difficulty adapting to his or her job
  5. Interpersonal problems or conflicts that are not being resolved
  6. When teamwork needs to be enhanced
  7. As a training tool in a seminar or workshop

Many of today's assessments are self-explanatory. They provide simple explanations to help you understand results and begin making positive changes. There are many support tools available in the form of PowerPoint Presentations (some with embedded video) and fully scripted Facilitator Kits for those who want to do training around these assessments. There are also "off the shelf" programs that you can integrate into your own hiring and retention initiatives.

Behavioral Assessments have greatly impacted our organization for the better. If you would like to evaluate different assessments to determine their potential value and impact on your organization, please feel free to email me and I will provide you free samples.

WOW. I would love to have more information on how I can get some samples of these profiles you are talking about. What do I need to do?
