InSRHN recognizes the challenges we all face in this new economy, yet they remain steadfast in their mission to create a network of rural providers dedicated to improving their ability to deliver high-quality health care to Indiana rural residents. They are excited about the Board’s forward thinking approach in supporting the InSRHN strategic plan, and have a specific goal to build on core member benefits and invest in new ones.

The IRHA staff is currently managing a diverse line of projects that include: Broadband deployment for 46 hospitals, Network Development of 21 hospitals through a HRSA Network Development Grant, Tele-mental health through a HRSA Outreach Grant, Comprehensive Smoke Free laws adoption in targeted rural communities, Critical Access Hospital Education Workshops, Emergency Preparedness at 62 Rural Health Clinics, and most recently contracted by the State Office of Rural Health to be the Flex Coordinator for Indiana.
 
Creative and thoughtful objectives require them to keep a pulse on rural health membership while looking for creative solutions to reduce expenses and provide new opportunities for growth and effectiveness. They have a long track record for success, and there is little doubt that InSRHN will succeed in reaching its goals this upcoming year and achieving new levels of excellence.
