2010 Allied Health Compensation Review – Marketing efforts in 2009 revealed that many hospitals are still slow to hire and expand staff due to inert revenues. With many hospitals slow to hire and expand services, the numbers of new graduates who are unable to find work are beginning to amass. Seeking ways to cut costs, the number of hospitals offering bonuses as a part of their recruitment package has decreased in 2009, as did the amount being offered. Recruiters have also resorted to creative ways of finding qualified candidates on a tightened budget.
